Driving to the grocery store today, I saw a sign for a restaurant that I even did an anonymous review for on this blog.
Their current sign is one of those electronic signs that flashes different words; they are pretty common any more.
Anyway, the sign said: WARNING: OUR FOOD IS ADDICTIVE
The next flash of words said this: EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK
Now, the addictive food part I must really say that I do not agree. It was plain terrible. Even the bottomless french fries were disgusting. Yuck. Everything else had freezer burn, save for the truly fresh ingredients. I didn't try their version of pizza, but I don't care to try it.
Now, the eat at your own risk, was not smart at all. I don't care who you are, you're gonna have to start giving away food that the Pope has blessed if many more people pay attention to that sign. Yikes!
Yes, eat at your own risk anywhere, but do not use that as a marketing tool. Not too smart.
